SHIATSU

指圧 - Shiatsu ("finger pressure") is a holistic Japanese form of therapy that has a balancing effect on the body, soul and spirit. It is based on the meridians (channels) known from Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), through which the life energy (Qi/Ki) flows, and has been supplemented with Western therapy techniques. The focus is on the person as a whole, with their accompanying living conditions and available resources.

A Shiatsu treatment is a relaxing and at the same time invigorating experience. The treatment takes place on the clothed body, lying on a futon. Through gentle pressure with the hands, thumbs, elbows and knees, as well as stretching and rotations, impulses are given to the energy system along the energy channels (meridians). This allows tension and energetic blockages to be released on various levels. At the same time, Shiatsu helps you to improve your own awareness and to find peace.

ABOUT THE TREATMENT


A Shiatsu treatment takes place in comfortable clothing on a futon (traditional Japanese mattress) on the floor. The treatment is based on the preliminary discussion, the individual matter, the energetic assessment, observation and touching of the energetic zones. The course of treatment is tailored individually according to the needs and matter.
